Last Sunday we went to visited our Grandsheikh in Bandung, apparently Bapak (our Grandsheikh) health conditions wasn't good since last week, and it's always happened every time Bapak facing his birthday on the 15th of May. Beside us, our mursyid (Aa' Hadi and Aa' Reza) also went to visited Bapak together with some members of Baitul-Akbar and Baitul-Ikhlas.
We arrived at 4 pm at Bapak's place, and 15 minutes later all of us were busy ate the delicious meals consisted of Sundanese food that provided by Ibu (Bapak's wife) specially for us. Amazing isn't it, how Bapak and his family treated and cared with the guests. It is what Rasulullah Shallaahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam saying in a hadith shahih narrated by Imam Al-Bukhari from Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu Anhu: "Waman kaana yu'minu kaana yu'minu billaahi walyawmil aakhiri fal yukrim dhayfahu". Translated as; Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day have to honorable the visitor in the house".
After finished with the delightful dishes, the coffee were served for accompanied us to listened the Bapak's wisdom, and also nice home made pempek for the light snack were there too.
Bapak said to us, "A birthday basically is the signal from Allah 'Azza wa Jalla to remind us that our time has near, and we should start preparing our self to meet The Creator". None of us will leaving forever, everything will be demolished without exception, only Allah. And everybody will have the result of what they have done in the past when they still alive, and instantly every organs of our body part will telling the truth, no cover up and no help from anything. Just the blessing from Allah and our deeds as the Savior, and that's what Allah saying in Al Qur'an in suurat Al-Baqarah (2) verse 197: "Wa tazawwaduu fa inna khairaz zaadit taqwaa". Translation: And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best of provisions is right conduct. So have we prepare?
